Töösisu kirjeldus
The Student Satellite Foundation is looking for a radio electronics engineer who would be willing to work on the RF Front End of our communications subsystem. The communications subsystem is responsible for providing a reliable communication link between the spacecraft and its operators on Earth.
You will be working on designing the reception and transmission chains of our 2 GHz SDR along with creating a logarthmic antenna for a proof of concept demonstration. RF frontend is envisioned to provide an output signal strength of a maximum of 33 dBm (2W), and the receiver sensitivity shall be at least -100 dBm.
Remote work is possible in the design phase but the assembly and testing of the created circuits is to happen in Tartu Observatory Space Technology labs. The on-site work can happen during dedicated assembly and testing days for people working away from Tartu.
