We are looking for a motivated Legal Trainee to join our legal team. In this role, you will support the organisation’s legal development and assist with tasks related to contracts, compliance, and governance. You will gain practical experience in technology, space, and organisational law while working with engineers, project managers, and external legal professionals. The legal team will provide support and mentorship throughout the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts related to intellectual property, employment, and partnerships
- Support the organisation’s legal development and compliance
- Assist management, HR, and finance teams with legal questions
- Provide legal support to project teams when needed
- Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, including the Estonian Space Act and EU space and technology regulation
- Support cooperation with external legal partners and organisations
Ootused kandidaadile
Requirements:
- Background or ongoing studies in law, business administration, economics, or a related field
- Interest in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (it is the official language of student satellite)
Võimalused
This position is voluntary and unpaid, primarily remote, with occasional in-person collaboration if needed. The trainee period lasts six months, after which you will continue in the team as a Legal Specialist.
