Details about the role
The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:
Support the implementation of EUDA work on drug precursors by contributing to monitoring, analysis, and coordination activities linked to synthetic drug production and precursor control.
Improving the collection of data on precursor monitoring and assisting with data quality and validation.
Support to early warning and threat identification.
Contribute to reports and briefings related to precursors and drug production.
Analysis of evidence collected and compilation of case studies and presentation of precursor work.
Support to stakeholder and network activities, e.g. meetings, conferences and seminars.
Expectations for the candidate
Eligibility requirements:
Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye.
Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service.
Be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
Have obtained the most recent higher education degree (graduate, postgraduate or doctoral) no more than three years before the deadline for applications.
Have a thorough knowledge of oral and written English.
Selection requirements:
A university degree in chemistry, forensic drug chemistry, data science, chemoinformatics or a related field.
Strong background in organic chemistry.
Ability to analyse structured datasets.
Expertise in manipulating data and production of dashboards from large databases.
Ability to work with multiple sources (regulatory, enforcement, laboratory data).
