We’re looking for an HR Team Member focused on HR Systems & IT Support!
Estonian Student Satellite (Eesti Tudengisatelliit) is looking for a new HR Team Member to support our internal systems, account creation, process automation, and day-to-day IT-related activities.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of human resources, IT, process improvement, and organizational development while contributing to a student-led space technology organization. The role is voluntary and unpaid, with an expected commitment of up to 8 hours per week. Occasional on-site participation may be expected during team events and workweeks.
Knowledge of Estonian and English is required.
Expectations for the candidate
What you’ll do
As part of the HR team, you may support us with:
Supporting the creation and management of accounts for new team members
Coordinating access to internal tools, platforms, and systems during on-boarding
Supporting team members with basic IT and account-related issues
Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive HR and administrative processes
Helping improve and maintain internal HR systems, trackers, and workflows
Supporting the development of more efficient on-boarding and off-boarding processes
Coordinating with relevant team members when technical issues require further support
Providing regular IT-related support during busy periods or when additional assistance is needed
Supporting other HR activities, including recruitment, on-boarding, and well-being initiatives when needed
Contributing to other HR and process-improvement initiatives
We are looking for someone who is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working with digital tools and systems. This role may be especially suitable for students or early-career professionals with a background or strong interest in IT, computer science, information systems, automation, process improvement, or related fields.
Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, spreadsheets, automation platforms, or other digital collaboration tools is an advantage.
