Targetlytics is building the "Google Search Console" for the Generative AI era.

Search is changing. 50% of users are now asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude instead of Googling. But brands are completely blind—they have no idea if AI is recommending them or hallucinating their pricing and suggesting a competitor. Targetlytics is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform that tells enterprise brands exactly how AI sees them, and gives them the tools to fix it.

We are an early-stage, fast-moving startup. We don't believe in red tape; we believe in "Pragmatic Velocity" and taking action.

The Role

We are looking for hungry, resilient Sales & Business Development Interns to help us build our revenue engine from the ground up.

This is not an internship where you will fetch coffee or organize spreadsheets all day. You will be on the front lines of B2B enterprise sales, hunting for leads, running outreach campaigns, and learning how to sell a highly technical SaaS product to CMOs and Marketing Directors. You will work directly with the founders and see exactly how a tech startup goes from zero to one.

What You Will Do:

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify target accounts (mid-market and enterprise SaaS/Retail) and find the right decision-makers using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.

Outbound Engine: Draft and execute cold email and LinkedIn outreach sequences. Test different messaging to see what books meetings.

Qualifying: Conduct initial discovery chats to qualify inbound and outbound leads before handing them off to the founders.

Shadowing & Closing: Sit in on live product demos and closing calls with the founders to learn the art of complex B2B sales.

CRM Management: Keep our sales pipeline clean and organized so we have accurate data on our Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts.

Who We Are Looking For:

The Hustle: You are not afraid of rejection. Sales is a numbers game, and you have the resilience to hear "no" 99 times to get a "yes."

Excellent Communicator: Flawless written and spoken English. You know how to write concise, punchy emails that busy executives actually want to read.

Tech-Curious: You don’t need to be a coder, but you should be fascinated by AI, ChatGPT, and how the internet works. You need to be able to understand our product deeply.

Extreme Agency: You don't wait to be told what to do. If you see a broken process, you suggest a fix.

Current Student or Recent Grad: Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field at a local university.

This is an unpaid internship designed for students seeking high-level mentorship and massive financial upside based on their own performance. We believe in rewarding results:

Uncapped Commission: Earn up to 30% of the deal value on any sales you help close.

Performance Awards: Top-performing interns will be eligible for bonuses and rewards for hitting meeting-booked milestones.

Full-Time Path: High-performing interns will be first in line for paid Account Executive or SDR roles as we scale.

Mentorship: Direct coaching on sales psychology and startup growth from founders with 15+ years of experience.
