This Test Operation Engineer Traineeship will teach you hands-on experience installing, verifying, and maintaining both software and hardware test systems, executing product and hardware tests, performing failure analysis in production, and using statistical tools to identify critical faults. You will become a bridge between production test development and supply, support new product introductions and transfers across sites, and improve test productivity and RF test calibration while becoming familiar with RF instruments and front end components like transceivers, antennas, filters, and power amplifiers.
Expectations for the candidate
What you will do:
• Take an active part in software and hardware (SW & HW) installation, verification, and maintenance. This involves product/hardware testing using different software/test cases.
• Participate in the failure analysis for tests that fail in in-house production and during the manufacturing process.
• Analyze and identify critical faults using statistical tool
• Act as a bridge between Production Test Development and Supply from a test technical perspective
• Provide technical support for testing in New Product Introduction and in transferring product introduction to other Ericsson Supply Sites
• Assist in Continuously improvement of test productivity throughout the entire manufacturing process, including reducing test time, increasing test yield, and enhancing test equipment availability and stability
Opportunities
Who We’re Looking For:
• Students studying a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or equivalent
• Some experience testing hardware in a lab or production environment
• Knowledge of different RF instruments and their functionality/usages
• Sound understanding of test station RF calibration
• Exposure to one of the 4 core elements of Radio Frequency front-end module (Transceiver, Antenna, Filter, or Power Amplifier)
• Curious, passionate individuals eager to bring fresh ideas, adapt to change and learn quickly
• Candidates who are willing to take initiative, challenge themselves, and make a positive impact
• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written
