Job Description
PowerUP Energy Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated IoT Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our cloud webpage and IoT platform used for monitoring and managing advanced industrial equipment. Your work will focus on maintaining system health, reliability, security, and scalability through bug fixes, operational support, and assisting with system improvements. This position can be full-time or part-time, and may be hybrid, onsite, or remote—provided you are based in Europe. We want you on board if you are passionate about technology and sustainability!
Expectations for the candidate
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering team with updates, testing, and further development of the cloud stack.
- Troubleshoot software issues and monitor system performance.
- Assist with maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree (or current enrollment) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Foundational understanding of software systems or networks.
- Collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of container tools (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Familiarity with data visualisation dashboards.
- Exposure to low-code or visual programming tools.
