This Quality Engineer Traineeship at our Test Hardware department will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with incoming inspection and fault analysis, supplier quality, practical use of calipers/micrometers/gauges, and reading engineering drawings while applying ISO 9001 and Six Sigma basics. You will also strengthen soft skills—cross functional communication, problem solving and process improvement, attention to detail, and time management whilst working on multiple priorities and projects.

Expectations for the candidate

What you will do:


• Assist in processing incoming inspections and managing production and customer complaints regarding faulty materials.
• Support the resolution of quality issues with suppliers and learn about implementing corrective actions.
• Aid production teams with repair and claim orders.
• Help maintain components on repair and faulty shelves and manage SAP storage locations based on stocktaking and repair demand needs.:
• Assist in coordinating logistics for faulty materials and learn about scrap handling according to Ericsson's processes.
• Upload components to incoming inspection groups for quality assessment.
• Participate in improvement projects and contribute ideas for quality and efficiency enhancements.
• Develop communication skills by engaging with cross-functional teams to address and resolve basic issues.



Who We’re Looking For:


• Students studying Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Applied Physics or similar
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, six sigma principles
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges (inspection tools)
• Some experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, process flows and specifications
• Curious, passionate individuals eager to bring fresh ideas, adapt to change and learn quickly
• Candidates who are willing to take initiative, challenge themselves, and make a positive impact
• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written
