We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to join our team. As part of our finance crew, you’ll be responsible for managing financial processes, supporting project teams, and ensuring transparent and accurate use of funding. Don’t worry if you don’t have any prior experience in similar tasks, we are here to help you!
The role is voluntary and unpaid, primarily remote with occasional in-person collaboration if required. There is a six-month Trainee period, after which you will continue in the team as an official Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and report on the use of public funding, ensuring compliance with grant requirements
Assist team members with expense reports and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare regular financial reports and properly document all financial transactions
Monitor project budgets and support financial planning activities
Support management in identifying and applying for additional funding opportunities
Contribute to improving internal financial processes and documentation

Requirements:
Background or ongoing studies in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field
Interest in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English (it is the official language of student satellite). Knowledge of Estonian is a plus.
