Cybernetica is an R&D-focused technology company developing mission-critical software and hardware solutions for customers in Estonia and around the world. Our work spans maritime surveillance, border security and radio communication systems, combining everything from antennas, radars and electronics to the software that brings it all together.

We're looking for a Hardware Technician to join our hands-on technical team working on surveillance and radio communication systems. In this role, you'll be involved in assembling, testing, installing and maintaining hardware solutions, both in-house and at customer sites.

If you enjoy practical, technical work, solving problems and seeing the results of what you've built, we'd love to hear from you.

Ootused kandidaadile

What you'll be doing:

- Assembling and building our surveillance and radio communication products.
- Coordinating production activities with subcontractors.
- Installing, testing, troubleshooting and documenting hardware products.
- Sourcing components and materials, and managing inventory.
- Preparing equipment for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), including rack installation, cabling, software setup and preparation for delivery.
- Providing technical support to customers during installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Performing on-site installation and maintenance at customer locations.

The role offers a variety of hands-on tasks and responsibilities. We'll be happy to tell you more about the day-to-day work during the first interview.

What we're looking for:

- Around 2 years of professional experience as a hardware engineer or hardware technician. Experience in electronics engineering is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage your responsibilities.
- Confidence in communicating with suppliers and customers.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in Estonian and English.

It's a plus if you have:

- Experience working at heights, such as on masts or towers.
- Hands-on experience with electronics, electrical systems or radio-frequency (RF) equipment.
- An interest in organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Willingness to occasionally work on-site at customer locations.
- A genuine interest in technology, particularly networks, computers, cameras, radios, radars and sensors.
